No, it's in a barn actually. 'Welcome home' is more a name for the mood as I perceived it in the photograph.

I live in a cottage on the lake, however, I have been asked if I was raised in a barn more than once!

although, isn't it rather difficult for you to go and buy groceires, or perhaps to the doctor?

Sorry, I don't live on the lake. I live on the shore of the lake. It's quite a short drive to the town at the top of the lake.

I wish I was lucky enough to be that isolated!

of course you live on the shore. i don't recall ever meeting or hearing about someone who lives directly ON the lake. i guess my expression was a bit inaccurate, but i thought you'd understand me. hehehe.

Dude barns are so bloody wicked,theirs a barn we almost got in Seale...and it even had buffalo and turkeys! Too bad we never got it D:....

Anyways cool pic,love the darkness in the barn and you look awsome,hah and if you had reddish hair you would so remind me of Calypso x3~

Yes, when the temperature permits. It is warm enough to swim in from June to after August.

Though I prefer my canoe...

The idea, the pose, the place and the model himself - all is very nice.

What I don't like here is the reduction of colours - it gives a strange effect on the face, chest and hands. The colours suit the picture very well. They reflect the atmosphere.
I wonder what would the photo look like if you hadn't reduced the colours.
I'll have a look at your galllery and maybe found one. ;)
